Austral University

Austral University (in Spanish, Universidad Austral) is a for-profit private university in Argentina, based in Buenos Aires and with seats in Pilar (Buenos Aires Province), and Rosario (Santa Fe).

The university is a confessional Catholic institution, under the spiritual guidance of the Prelature of Opus Dei. It was launched by a non-for-profit association, the Higher Studies Civil Association (Asociación Civil de Estudios Superiores, ACES), established in 1979.

Austral University has the following academic seats and faculties:

  • In Buenos Aires City: Faculty of Communication, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Engineering.
  • In Pilar, Buenos Aires: Austral University Hospital and Faculty of Biomedic Sciences.
  • In Rosario: Faculty of Entrepreneurial Sciences.
