Austin Middle School (formerly Austin Jr. High) is a public middle school in Irving, Texas established in the IISD. It provides education material for students in grades 6 - 8 within the school's boundaries. The school was named in honor of Stephen F. Austin (known as the "Father of Texas") who led the second and ultimately successful colonization of the region by the United States.
