Aussie ISP
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Aussie ISP (or aussie-isp) is a mailing list for Australian Internet service providers with archives hosted by Home Unix Machine Brisbane User Group. The list was created in 1996 by Andrew Khoo and has become one of the principal forums for Australian ISP professionals and staff to discuss industry relevant issues.
The list is comparable in some respects to the NANOG mailing list, but with a broader focus than just network operation and peering arrangements. As Australia's population is not as numerous as other countries the propensity for discussions threads encompassing other aspects of the ISP industry to overwhelm the list is not as great as some other countries.
