Auspitz's sign

Auspitz's sign is the appearance of punctate bleeding spots when psoriasis scales are scraped off. It is named after Heinrich Auspitz.^[1] The sign was first described by Daniel Turner, of the College of Physicians London in 1711.^{[citation needed]}
