Aurora University (Shanghai)

Aurora University (French: Université l'Aurore, traditional Chinese: 震旦學院; pinyin: Zhendan Xueyuan) was a pre-eminent Catholic university in Shanghai from 1903 to 1952.

The founder was Father Joseph Ma Xiangbo S.J. (1840-1939). In 1952, Université l'Aurore was merged into Fudan University and the Medical School of it has been a part of Shanghai Second Medical College since 1952.
