DJ Aura Qualic is a Japanese producer, DJ, remixer, composer, and songwriter.[1] While he mainly produces trance, his range of genres also extends to anime remixes, pop, J-pop, game music, orchestral music, and more.[2] Aura is also a member of the band Dj Lizz. [2]

[edit] Beginning of career
Aura's interest in composing music began in 1998, learning the basics of music creation using the video game MTV Music Generator.[2]

In 2001, Aura began collaborating with another music artist, known as "Mikaella".[3] They called their act "Dj Lizz" ("Dedicated Jive for La Invetras ZenoZ")[3], and were active until about 2005. Recently, Aura has produced more tracks with Mikaella, while still using the "Aura Qualic" name.

In 2002, Aura and Mikaella created the "Nalice Gates" website, in their first attempt to expose their music worldwide.[4]

In 2006, Aura decided to start his solo musical career, and officially changed his name to "Aura Qualic".[4] He went on to release his first solo album, Trance Destination, in 2006.

Dj Lizz/Aura Qualic's first album, was made available in Japan only. It was released in 2004, and sold 8,000 copies.[4]

The follow-up to Dj Lizz Meets Trance, also available only in Japan. It was released in 2005.[4]

The final "Dj Lizz" release. It features 16 tracks and additional content, including a promotional CGI music video for "Unlimited Skies".

Aura Qualic's first international solo release. In Japan, it was released in late 2006, followed by an international release in early 2007.[4]
