Aurélien Barrau

Aurélien Barrau is a French astrophysicist, specialized in astroparticle physics, black holes and cosmology. He works for the CNRS Laboratory for Subatomic Physics and Cosmology (LPSC) and for the Joseph Fourier University (UJF).
He was awarded the 2006 Bogoliubov Prize in theoretical physics, mostly for his researches about quantum black holes and primordial cosmology.
He is also involved in scientific popularization and epistemology.
