Talk:Aunt Agatha

[edit] Does Aunt Agatha ever appear?
My Jeeves experience is still somewhat limited. But I was wondering--does Aunt Agatha ever actually appear on-camera in the stories? In the ones I've read, she's talked about a great deal, and occasionally writes a stern letter, but never actually appears in the flesh.
Can anyone tell me a story where she participates actively, rather than just as a baleful potentiality? -- Narsil 21:04, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, she appears on multiple occasions - usually setting up Bertie's misadventures, but serving at times as an integral part of the story, such as when her pearls are stolen in Roville-sur-Mer in "Aunt Agatha Speaks her Mind." If you're interested in seeing more of her appearances, I recommend the excellent anthology "Life with Jeeves" (Penguin, NY, 1981) where she appears most often in the first section, "The Inimitable Jeeves." On the strength of these citations, I am removing the relevant paragraph from the article.
