[edit] Nicknames

Encyclopedias do not refer to people using their nicknames. Encyclopedias are written in a more formal style. It is aceptable to cite a nickname if it is commonly used, as "The Fourth" appears to be in this case, but it is not acceptable to use the nickname to refer to the person. The George W. Bush article, refers to its subject as "Bush" or "President Bush", and not as "Dubya". Ground Zero | t 20:41, 19 July 2007 (UTC)
