A 'Bridge Bill' as issued by the Bridge Company of Augusta, 1816. The main asset backing the note is realistically portrayed, complete with heavy traffic and prominent toll booths. Signed by the proprietors John McKinne and Henry Shultz, these notes lost their value in May, 1819. The notation 'Judgement' indicates that this example was submitted to court as a formal claim.
