Augustus P. Hascall

Augustus Porter Hascall (June 24, 1800 - June 27, 1872) was a U.S. Representative from New York.
Born in Hinsdale, Massachusetts, Hascall moved to Le Roy, New York, in 1815. He attended public and private schools. He engaged in surveying. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Le Roy, New York. He was in the Justice of the Peace and supervisor. He served as judge of the court of common pleas.
Hascall was elected as a Whig to the Thirty-second Congress (March 4, 1851-March 3, 1853). He resumed the practice of law. Trustee of the village of Le Roy in 1858. He died in Le Roy, New York, June 27, 1872. He was interred in Myrtle Street Cemetery.
