Augustin Schoeffer

Augustin Schoeffer (d. 1851), a French saint and martyr in the Roman Catholic Church. He was a priest in Lorraine who joined the Foreign Missions of Paris. He worked as a missionary to Indo-China and was killed for his faith in Tonkin in 1851.

His feast day is May 1 (May 2 locally in France).
