Auguste Island

Auguste Island (64°3′S, 61°37′W) is a flat-topped island less than 1 mile (1.6 km) long, lying 4 miles (6 km) northeast of Two Hummock Island in Gerlache Strait. Discovered by the Belgian Antarctic Expedition (1897-99) under Lieutenant Adrien de Gerlache, and named by him for his father.
