[edit] WP:NCGN
There is a convention regulating use of geographic names in Wikipedia. Please, find some time to read it at WP:NCGN. If an article mentions a village in Slovakia and that village used to have also a German name, the German name should be mentioned in the lead of an article about that village - not in every article mentioning the village. Therefore, please do not include German names in templates of Slovak districts, as you did for instance here. Templates are just used for easier navigation. Thank you. - I also would like to add that the language templates such as Template:Lang-de and Template:Lang-hu are useful to use instead of simply writing "German" or "Hungarian". Contemporary geographic titles are also preferred over older names. Olessi 03:37, 24 April 2007 (UTC)
