[edit] AudioStatic82's User Page, Tada!!
AudioStatic82 is a single mid-20 year old who lives in Columbus, Ohio and self-proclaimed 'Greatest Man currently alive in his world'. In this context 'his world' refers to his idea that everyone has their own, unique world that only they experience through their senses. The title in it of itself is a joke.
AudioStatic82's real name is not important, as the few people who ever read this will probably be directed in some way through the person in question, and will therefore already know his real name. So for everyone else out there, you may call him ... Clarence.
The nickname AudioStatic82 was created to replace the previous AIM screen name of HeavyMTL82. The latter name had outgrown its use since the heavy metal era of his youth had passed and no longer properly describes his musical tastes. The nick was an original creation and has nothing to do with the band Audioslave.
[edit] Life
AudioStatic82 was born in Youngstown, Ohio and grew up in Berlin Center, OH. He went to school at Western Reserve High School. He excelled at many things and was captian of the football and baseball teams, and was given ICL honors in both sports several years. In football he was one of three sophomores to start the varsity team and was given honorable mention his junior year, and 2nd team ICL his senior year. In baseball he started the varsity team as a freshman, won honorable mention 3 years and 2nd team ICL his senior year. After High school he attended The Ohio State University in the pre-computer science-engineering program. He eventually switched to Civil Engineering and graduated in 2004. During his 2nd senior year, and for a year after graduation he attended master's level classes in Geotechnical Engineering and worked with Dr. Patrick J. Fox. Graduate work included dynamic Direct Shear Testing of Geosynthetic Clay Liners; the data gathered was the first of it's kind and revealed information that had never been reported before. Currently 2 papers are going through revisions and will be published in early 2007 covering the work. He failed to graduate with his master’s degree due to some underhanded shenanigans from Dr. William Wolfe (see below). AudioStatic82 excelled in all his classes, receiving B's or higher from all professors except Wolfe, who consistently gave him C's whilst giving every other student A's. He was advised to fight for honest fair grading, but decided instead to finish his current quarter and enter the work force. He was 3 classes away from completing his master's degree. He currently works in the public works department for EMH&T, a general engineering firm in New Albany, a suburb of Columbus Ohio.
