Audrey L. Gibson is a native of Jacksonville's northside.
She is currently the State Representative for District 15 in Florida. Her committees and councils are as follows: Colleges & Universities, Juvenile Justice, Military & Veterans Affairs, State Administration Appropriations and State Administration Council. She was also appointed Democratic Co-Floor Leader.

Gibson earned her Bachelors in Criminology from Florida State University.

During her career, Gibson has worked as Congressional District Administrator and as a Business Community Liaison. Gibson sits on numerous committees and is affiliated with many organizations, such as Jax Pride; First Coast African American Chamber of Commerce; Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce; Blue Print for Leadership - Class of 1999; Jacksonville Community Council, Inc. (JCCI); Manufacturers North Community Advisory Panel (CAP); Citizens for Tree Protection; the Democratic Executive Committee; Jacksonville Chapter of the Links, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Jacksonville Alumnae Chapter and the Northwest Jacksonville Community Development Corporation.
