Audrey Carville

Audrey Carville is the host of the BBC World Service radio show Europe Today, known for her tough questioning of European public figures on the show.

Carville is a native of Castleblayney in County Monaghan in Ireland.

Previously Carville was the host of BBC Radio Ulster in Northern Ireland, and prior to that worked for an independent local radio station in County Donegal in Ireland.

She has won a number of awards for her reporting and journalism including the Celtic Film and Television Award and the Institute of Public Relations Award. She was part of a Sony award winning team for current affairs journalism in 2002.
