Audie Norris

Audie James Norris (born December 18, 1960, in Jackson, Mississippi) is a retired American professional basketball player. He was a 6'9" (206 cm) 230 lb (104 kg) center and played collegiately at Jackson State University from 1978 to 1982. He played for the NBA's Portland Trail Blazers from 1982 to 1985.
Norris was selected with the 14th pick of the second round in the 1982 NBA Draft by the Trail Blazers. In three seasons with the team, he averaged 4.4 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game.
After his NBA career finished, Norris played two years in Treviso, Italy for Benetton Basket, six years in Barcelona, Spain for FC Barcelona, and finally with Nikas Peristeri in Athens, Greece.[1]
He is now assistant women's basketball coach at Tougaloo College.[1]
