Auckland University Press (AUP) founded in 1966, is the book publishing arm of the University of Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand. It publishes New Zealand history, biography, poetry, short stories and essays, Maori and Pacific Island studies in addition to scholarly and academic works.

AUP has won major awards in 22 of the last 25 years, including winning the Montana New Zealand Book Awards three times.
