Isn't Aubrey de Sélincourt the correct spelling? That's how it's spelt on my copy of his translation of The Histories of Herodotus - what spelling is normally used?
Google is absolutely useless for this as it regards Sélincourt and Selincourt as the same spelling, and in any case diacritics are often left off on the internet. Timrollpickering 14:12, 28 October 2007 (UTC)
