A photograph of Auburn High School in 1899. This building served as W.F. Slaton's Academy and the preparatory school of the East Alabama Male College prior to the Civil War, and as Auburn High School (under the names of the Auburn Female College, Auburn Female Insitute, and Auburn High School) from 1870 through 1899.
