Auburndale is a station on the Long Island Rail Road's Port Washington Branch in the Auburndale neighborhood of Queens in New York City. The station is part of CityTicket. The station is located off of Station Road, between 192nd Street and 39th Avenue, just north of Northern Boulevard and is 11.7 miles (18.8 km) from Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan.
Auburndale Station was originally built in 1901. When the line and the station were elevated in 1929, the previous station house was sold in 1930 and converted into an Episocpal Church on 42nd Avenue and Utopia Parkway. This church was closed down in 1973. The elevated platform, which serves both tracks was given new shelters in the early 21st Century.
