Construction of Auburn Mountainview began in 2004 in Lea Hill (now incorporated Auburn) and began it's first school year in the fall of in 2006. The school services Rainier Middle School and small part of Cascade Middle School as well as some Kent residents.

Auburn Mountainview offers Advanced Placement classes in Computer Science, Biology, Calculus, Language, Literature, U.S. History, European History, U.S. Government, CompSysEng 1-2, Graphics, German, Spanish, Japanese, and French.
