Aubrey Brain (1893-1955) was a British horn player, father of Dennis Brain.

The name of Aubrey Brain has been largely eclipsed by that of his more famous son, which is unfortunate since Aubrey Brain's impact on the world of British horn playing was very considerable in itself, both through his work as Principal Horn at the BBC Symphony Orchestra and as a teacher.
