Atze Schröder

Atze Schröder is a German comedy figure played by Hubertus Albers.[1] He is best known as the main character in the RTL comedy show Alles Atze (2000–2006) and for his appearances in the ProSieben stand-up comedy Quatsch Comedy Club.

According to the Atze Schröder home page, the figure "Atze Schröder" was born on September 27, 1965 in the German city of Essen.[2] His real name became public record in 1998, when he registered it at the German Patent and Trade Mark Office. On 14 August 2007, he signed over the trademark to Atze Schröder from Münster.[3]
He appears as himself in the German comedy film U–900, to be released on 9 October 2008.[4]
