Attack of the Mutant is a children's PC game based on the book Attack of the Mutant by R.L.Stine. It was developed and produced by Dreamworks Interactive and was released May 1, 1997. It was one of the first games to use cel-shaded graphics.

The hero gets off at the wrong bus stop, and finds himself at the secret headquarters of the Masked Mutant. Within, he must work with various comic book superheroes to prevent the Mutant's heinous plot for world domination.

The cast of characters included all of the comic book superheroes and supervillains featured in the original book, but also added many original characters. The hero, a non-gender specific (though in-game art suggests a male) child, is a classic video game silent protagonist.
