Ats Purje (born August 3, 1985 in Tallinn) is an Estonian professional footballer, who plays in the Finnish Veikkausliiga for FC Inter Turku. He plays the position of right winger or second striker and is 1.78 m tall and weighs 76 kg. He is also a member of the Estonia national football team.

[edit] FC Levadia Tallinn
In 2003, at the age of 17, Purje started his professional career with FC Levadia Maardu, one of the biggest clubs in Estonia. In 2007 he was relegated to Levadia Tallinn's reserve team, after refusing to sign a contract extension with the club.
[edit] FC Inter Turku
On December 27, 2007, he signed a 2-year contract with Finnish Veikkausliiga club FC Inter Turku.[1] [2] On February 9, 2008, Purje scored his first goal in his first game for FC Inter Turku against JK Tallinna Kalev in a friendly match.[3] He scored his first Veikkausliiga goal also in his first Veikkausliiga match on April 27, 2008, in a 3-1 victory against RoPS.[4]

For Estonia national football team, Purje is capped 8 times. He made his national team debut on October 11, 2006 against Russia in a UEFA Euro 2008 qualification.[5]
