MC:Atmos is the title of two spoken tracks by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd. They were released on Is There Anybody out There? The Wall Live 1980-81 album in 2000. The two served as introductions to the songs In The Flesh? and In The Flesh. They are performed by Gary Yudman, the MC for the Earls Court shows in 1980 and 1981[1]. Other performances featured Jim Ladd and his then fellow KMET disc jockey Cynthia Fox.
[edit] Title
The tracks were called "Master of Ceremonies" on the 2000 North American issue. The title was renamed to "MC:Atmos" on the North American re-issue in 2005, in line with the rest of the world.
