The Atlantis Interface System or the AISNSim is a simulator of the systems used in the fictional universe of Stargate Atlantis. It was created by Dobrin Totev as a fan-project for the series of Stargate Atlantis and the member of the forum Gabri3l is now going to help further with the creation of the sim. By now it is the biggest sim. It contains 214 MiB files.

[edit] What is it?

The simulator contains several functions which simulate the environment of the city of the Ancients called Atlantis. There are various windows which each represent a function of the city. Of course not all functions can be integrated into the sim, because this would take several years to complete.

[edit] Systems

  • The DHD of the city is the first system which is available. It let's the user dial the Stargate to several pre-determined addresses made by the creator.
  • The bio-sensors is the following system in the line. These sensors can detect possible threats to the city, the activation of a distress beacon and the venting of the oxygen. The last option is not available at this time.
  • The next system contains the city emergency systems. Which function this system will have is still unknown because of the incomplete state of the simulator.
  • The lockdown system prevents the user from accessing any system while the lockdown is active.
  • The proximity alarm system is a collection of several alarms which can be heard when the right code has been entered.
  • The power control system let's the user control the energy flow. The system is based on the one of the Ancient outpost in the episode Trinity.
  • The ZPM control system is the main energy system. It is at this time incomplete.
  • The shields and radar screen represent the radar and the main shield of Atlantis. The shield is functionning but the radar is still inoperable.
  • The grounding stations are the systes which prevent that the city becomes electrocuted by lightning. The stations can be connnected or disconnected.
  • The database contains all of the diable addresses for the Stargate. Until now there are 2 full pages of addresses.
  • The drives.protocols screen contains the function to activate or to deactivate the stardrive of the city of Atlantis, which permits the city to leave it's original planet.
  • Communications will probably contain a communication service between orbital ships or deployed puddle jumpers. The system is inoperable now.
  • The galaxy map is being constructed for the upcoming version. It will contain a map of the Pegasus galaxy with all the planets in the database highlighted on the map. When pressed on one of the planets the Stargate automatically dials the address of that planet.
  • The diagnostic screen contains a diagnostic system of the Stargate and its DHD. The function is not fully operable.
  • The self-destruct function permits the user to set a time and to destroy the city at own will. After the destruction of the city the simulator will close.

  • The Self-Destuct screen has been updated and made how it is on the show.
  • The galaxy map is working. You can select a planet from the galaxy map and it will automatically be dialed.
  • There is a fully operational Star Drive and Hyper Drive screen.

The different screens and systems contain several other sub-functions like the MALP screen in the DHD system.

[edit] Upcoming versions

The most recent version of the simulator is version 1.2.2. This version will be soon outdated by the newer version 1.2.5. The sim will be in construction for a long period due to the coding and drawing is done by only Dobrin Totev, the creator.

The simulator can be downloaded on the simulator's forum. The forum requires registration to be accessable. When registrated the members require to be active because otherwise the predetermined steps of deleting accounts will be done.
