It is located approximately 40-50 minutes North of Halifax, Nova Scotia just outside of the town of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia.
[edit] History
AMP has hosted notable auto racing categories, including Formula Atlantic in the 1970s. The Unofficial lap record of 59.8 seconds was set in an Atlantic car by famous Canadian racing legend Gilles Villeneuve. The circuit also featured the Canadian Honda Civic challenge in the 1980s, and to this day hosts a round of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship every August.
