[edit] Questions, questions

Would you care to provide evidence that would lead other editors away from the notion that you are merely a reincarnation of banned user Mr Beans Backside? -- Hoary (talk) 12:43, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

This blocked user (block log | autoblocks | rangeblocks | unblock | contribs | deleted contribs) has asked to be unblocked, but an administrator has reviewed and declined this request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock request while you are blocked.

Request reason: "I am Mr Beans Backside. I made a new account after my previous one was unfairly blocked, apparently for nothing more than trying to argue my case on Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents and asking too many questions in a short period of time. I have always been civil and clam, and I have NEVER caused any deliberate disruption. Once again, this is unfair treatment. Am I never allowed to come back to Wikipedia on a new account?"

Decline reason: "No, you are not. You may be allowed back on your original account, should the community or ArbCom decide that, but you may not and must not create alternate accounts to circumvent your ban; doing so will work strongly in your disfavor if you desire reinstatement. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 14:56, 15 May 2008 (UTC)"

Please make any further unblock requests by using the {{unblock}} template. However, abuse of the template may result in your talk page being protected.

Comment. I'm not going to act either way on that for now. I appreciate your candor in saying that you are Mr Beans Backside. I can agree with some of Mr Beans Backside's defense of himself, and some of what you say about him/yourself above. You won't be allowed to come back unchanged. So change, and prove you've changed. I challenge you to write the draft of a new article. It had better be good. Feel free to work on it within the box below. Nobody expects that the first version will be good, so work on it and work on it, and when you're happy with the result, say so. Happy editing! -- Hoary (talk) 13:10, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Hi, MBB. As the admin who blocked this account (and whom was not involved with the original ANI case, nor has any particularly strong opinions about said case), I'd like to make it clear that you were blocked here simply for using an obvious sockpuppet account to evade your block. Whatever the rights and wrongs of your original block, this is not the correct way to go about getting your editing privileges back. Have you read the section at Wikipedia:Appealing_a_block describing how to appeal to ArbCom by email (as it appears that you have already had your unblock requests for your original account turned down)? --Kurt Shaped Box (talk) 13:18, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
KSB is right. Still, your (or better MBB's) appeal through the official channels can't be hurt by reference to a demonstration in the pink box below of your willingness and ability to add worthwhile content to Wikipedia. -- Hoary (talk) 13:28, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
