From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi everyone please begin and talk about anything I may have done. Feel free to comment or ask anything !! If you have any questions ask them here and I'll try and answer them as quickly as I can to the best of my ability.

This is your talk page, which isn't used the same way as an article's talk page i.e people make comments about the improving the article. In this case people don't comment about your user page, but to use it to communicate with you for whatever reason. Other users are only allowed to edit your user page, if it is the removal of vandalism or innapropriate/rude content. Hope that helps! See also: Wikipedia:User page and Wikipedia:User talk page. [edit] Welcome

Please don't edit other people's user pages and... Welcome!

Hello, AtheWeatherman, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on discussion pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{helpme}} before the question. Again, welcome! Okay, but just remember that Wikipedia isn't a social networking site. You might want to edit some articles that inerest you; trust me, it's more fun and fulfilling. If you have any problems with Wikipedia there is an adoption programme, which has helped me a lot. Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 20:01, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Indeed! Friendliness is the most important prinipal of Wikipedia. Stops you from getting caught up in all sorts of nasty situations. If you want any more info on the adoption programme or anything else I'll try to help you out. Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 20:07, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks so much for the barnstar! My first one aswell... Woo! Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 21:01, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

It's great to see you're starting to edit articles now. Keep it up and remember, BE BOLD! Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 15:04, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your userpage

You seem to be doing a lot of work on your userpage, Andrew. If you want I could organise your userboxes into a table (so they are aligned) or maybe you could use an infobox like the one used on my userpage for them. If you want me to help you out in any way just reply! Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 16:43, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

I'll try my best to explain. First thing you so is insert this:{| class="wikitable", then on the line below you must put a vertical line: | and then the userbox straight after it e.g |{{user age|15}}. Then hit enter to go down a line again and do the same as above: put a vertical line: | and then your userbox like this: |{{user name|Andrew}}. You should do this one more time to give your three userboxes on your top row. Then to start your second row hit enter to get another line and insert |- after that you can do the same as above (do three more userboxes) then for your third row do |- and then another three userboxes. Keep going until your finished and then take another line and insert |}. I originaly did your boxes in groups of four, but it didn't quite fit, so then I did then in threes. To see the formatting just click edit on your userpage. Meaty♠Weenies (talk) 17:36, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button Image:Signature_icon.png located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 18:03, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Speedy deletion of Everdaze

A tag has been placed on Everdaze requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. tgies (talk) 12:47, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] May 2008

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Everdaze, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Badgernet (talk) 13:05, 29 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Welcome messages

Hi, you're leaving new users welcome messages - that's great. Make sure they go on the User talk page, as only edits there will bring up the "You have new messages" banner. Edits made on their user page won't, and they won't immediately know they have received your message otherwise. Cheers. WilliamH (talk) 11:37, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
