[edit] Not part of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex
I'm going to dispute including Athens in Dallas Fortworth metroplex.......whoever put it there needs to take a real good look at a map.......as the crow flies, Athens is about 94 miles away from Dallas, Texas........comments? Buddpaul 18:40, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
- Those of us who live there never speak of Athens as being part of the DFW metroplex. Mesquite is about as far southeast as we consider part of DFW proper. Not even Seagoville is considered a true suburb, and it's 1½ hours closer than Athens. — Loadmaster 02:19, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Girl lied about being attacked
It turns out the girl who claimed to have been attacked was lying about the incident...the article should probably be changed to reflect this http://www.kltv.com/Global/story.asp?S=8142322 64.72.40.119 (talk) 01:55, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
- Why would this information even be part of the article? The original addition seems POV-ish (I've never heard the term "citizen-student" before). I'm going to Be Bold and remove the section entirely. --Robertb-dc (talk) 17:00, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
