[edit] Athassel Abbey/Priory
Now in ruins and covered with vegetation, the abbey was used later as a parish church. It has a screen wall down the middle [of the nave] which divided Catholic and Protestant services. The church had two belfries on it. Location is Waterford Road just east of Cahir.
