Athletic Nation

Athletic Nation Corporation is a chain of franchised men's-only personal training gyms founded by Dennis Mulgannon in 2001. The chain started with its first location in San Jose, California in 2006. Presently there are several locations across the United States.

In 2006, Travis Ortmayer opened the company's first franchised location in Houston, Texas. The gyms are typically located ground floor in a medical office building and are 1100-1800 sqare feet of floorspace with freeweights, multi-use machines and a cardio room.
