Athirson Mazzoli e Oliveira (born January 16, 1977) is a Brazilian football defender (left back) who plays in Romania at F.C. Vaslui. He was born in Rio de Janeiro and has played most of his career at Flamengo. Usually a left back, Athirson could also play on the left wing and as an attacking midfielder. He was useful there because of his attacking skills.

Athirson was released by Bayer Leverkusen along with Roque Junior. He then signed a 6 months contract with Botafogo, but his contract was terminated on October 4, 2007, after just playing only 6 times for the club.

He signed a one year contract with Brasiliense on 22 February 2008.

He has played 19 times for the Brazilian National Team, having scored 2 goals. He was in the squad of 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship.
