Atherina boyeri is a species of fish in the Atherinidae family. It is found in Albania, Algeria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Morocco, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovenia, Spain, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, and Turkmenistan.
