Athasi Stakes

The Athasi Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the Republic of Ireland for three-year-old and above thoroughbred fillies and mares. It is run over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres) at the Curragh in late April or early May.
It was promoted to Group 3 status in 2003, having earlier been classed as a Listed race between 1987 and 2002 and a Group 3 race until 1986. The race was formerly restricted to three-year-old fillies only, opening to four-year-olds in 1993 and to five-year-olds and above in 2001.
