AT&T CallVantage

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

AT&T CallVantage is a VoIP telephone service provided by AT&T.

AT&T CallVantage was first offered in 2004 by AT&T Corp., upon the heels of its announcement that it would stop seeking traditional land-line local and long distance telephone customers. AT&T CallVantage was meant as competition to other VoIP providers, such as Vonage.

After SBC Communications purchased AT&T Corp. in 2005, merged into AT&T Inc., AT&T began offering CallVantage as an option with AT&T Yahoo! DSL service, formerly known as SBC Yahoo! DSL.
