[edit] Fair use
Wikipedia's policy clearly states that
"the use of low-resolution images of magazine covers
- to illustrate the publication of the issue of the magazine in question
- with the publication name either visible on the image itself or written in the image description above,
on the English-language Wikipedia, hosted on servers in the United States by the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation, qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law. "
This information is clearly displayed on the image's page; the image is clearly a low resolution of a magazine cover, and is used to illustrate the publication of the issue of the magazine in question.
So far, I have been affronted by a bot and user who have bandied unhelpful template-generated messages about but given no indication of what I can do to placate them, except for "You failed to provide a non-free image use rationale, as required by policy." The rationale above already exists on the image's page.

- That same template that you're falsely assuming is a rationale says "this tag is not a sufficient claim of fair use. You must also include the source of the work, all available copyright information, and a detailed non-free use rationale." There's a link to WP:NFURG. --uǝʌǝsʎʇɹoɟʇs(st47) 10:32, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
WP:FURME saves a lot of time. Let's not get into pedantic dissections of NFURG or NFCC. ˉˉanetode╦╩ 20:54, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
