Français : Corvette l'Astrolabe, lancee a Toulon en 1811 l'Astrolabe, nommee d'abord la Coquille, est celebre pour avoir servi aux voyages d'exploration de Dumont-d'Urville. Apres avoir effectue, en 1822, le tour du monde sous les ordres du commandant Duperrey, dont Dumont-d'Urville etait le second. l'Astrolabe fit avec ce dernier deux autres voyages, en 1826-1829, puis en 1838-1840.
