Astrobrite is shoegazing/noise-pop supergroup project from the musician Scott Cortez (Of STAR and lovesliescrushing fame). Astrobrite began in 1994 as a solo project and in 1995 the band expanded in order to tour. Astrobrite played their last show in 1997 and went on hiatus. In 2001, Astrobrite's first album 'Crush' was released. Alison's Halo, (Adam Cooper) mastered and mixed 'Crush' and '8 Candy EP'. Astrobrite is a shoegazing supergroup, at times incorporating members of STAR (Scott Cortez), lovesliescrushing (Scott Cortez),(Melissa Arpin-Duimstra), Mahogany (Andrew Prinz), Majesty Crush (Odell Nails), Paik (Rob Smith), Xebec (Doug Walker) and other members as well.

In April 2007 a new album 'Whitenoise Superstar' was released.
