Elin Astrid Sofia Zachrison (May 15, 1895 – May 15, 2008) was a Swedish supercentenarian who, on October 6, 2007, surpassed Elsa Moberg to become the country's oldest person ever. Per the Gerentology Research Group, she died in the early morning hours of her 113th birthday.[1] Zachrison was born in Fliseryd, west of Oskarshamn.[citation needed] According to her son the mother of Astrid Zachrison was born in 1853 and died in 1944. According to the same source her father was born in 1856 and died in 1933.
