Association of Science-Technology Centers

The Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) is an international organization of science centers and science museums. Members are located in more than 40 countries. Founded in 1973, the organization is headquartered in Washington, D.C., USA.
ASTC holds an annual conference, publishes books and reports, provides professional development, and supports online communities for people who work in and with science centers. ASTC also is home to the Center for Advancement of Informal Science Education (CAISE), which was founded in 2007 with support from the National Science Foundation.
