Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA) is an organization that works to advance international understanding, prosperity, peace and security through professional education in international affairs.
APSIA comprises 29 member schools in Asia, Canada, Europe, and the United States with programs in advanced international study. By bringing together its member schools, the international affairs community and the general public, it facilitates the sharing of information and ideas.
APSIA's member schools are required to be committed to preparing students for careers in international affairs through programs that combine multidisciplinary, policy-oriented, intercultural studies with career development.
Additionally, APSIA's website serves as a clearinghouse of information for prospective students and employers. The organization hosts many outreach events each year to help the public learn about studying international relations. These events have historically been in various cities throughout the United States, South America, Europe, and Asia.
