Talk:Aspen Shrines

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I created this page to attempt to provide a history of and information on the shrines of Aspen/Snowmass. The Aspen Shrines are very famous in the skiing community and have been in existance for over 20 years and are visited by many skiers every ski season in Aspen. There are no books written about them that I know of. The only information on them is in newspaper articles and various web sites and I have tried to gather that information and present it in the article.

I think that it's an excellent subject for an article. The article could use some rewriting, however, to make it a bit more encyclopedic. Try looking at other articles and the way they are formatted, read the Wikipedia Manual of Style, and Wikipedia's policies of verifiability and referencing. If you need any help or have any questions, I'd be glad to assist you, or point you out to where you can get the help you need. Happy editing - try to have fun with this! Oops - I didn't realize someone placed a speedy tag. Admin, I don't think this was a good CSD tag - the article isn't written in promotional style and is vaguely referenced. Notability seems to check out. I'll keep an eye on the article and help the author get it into shape. Perhaps this could go to AfD for other reasons, but I feel this does not meet CSD criteria.
