[edit] Bangladesh v Afghanistan

Mustafa Hadid scored Afghanistan's second goal. I watched the match. HA Habib did not take part in the goal. Ahmed assisted in the goal. The ball hit Mustafa Hadid's leg before going into the net. You might have missed that part.

[edit] Article names

I think you should know that articles about people generally use the same title as is the person's name normally written; for example, it's Václav Havel, not "Havel, Václav". (See the naming conventions.) Regards, Mike Rosoft 08:32, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

  • Also please note that an article about a footballer should have more content than just an infobox. - Mike Rosoft 08:36, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
  • Regarding the file Image:Sadaat.jpg, I am afraid it probably cannot be used on Wikipedia; the fair use policy states that non-free images can only be used when a free one could not be reasonably created. It is probably not the case for Bashir Ahmad Saadat, since he is alive and somebody could take his photo and release it into public domain, under GFDL or Creative Commons license, etc. If this is not true, please explain why in the image description page. - Mike Rosoft 08:42, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Again, please do not create articles at incorrect titles, such as Maqsood, Sayed. I have taken the liberty of moving Saadat, Bashir Ahmad to Bashir Ahmad Saadat, and Abbasi, Ahmed Wahid to Ahmed Wahid Abbasi. - Mike Rosoft 08:49, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Replaceable fair use Image:Sadaat.jpg

Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Sadaat.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 7 days after this notification, per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. – Quadell (talk) (random) 03:53, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Afghanistan FA.gif. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

A tag has been placed on H.A. Habib requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. [edit] License tagging for Image:Afghanistan FA.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Afghanistan FA.gif. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description.
