[edit] Assyrians and Chaldeans

Shlama, concerning your comments of , How are today's Chaldeas ethnically Assyrians - I am pretty sure besides your childhood years, you haven't stepped a foot in Nineveh plains to see what Chaldeans consider themselves today. Its a shame what has happened to our deaspora with all the church and village splittings that have caused nothing but fitna. From your tune, it does seem that you are not well educated about your people at all, but to answer your question, I will do so with a question of mine. Answer this, before the Chaldean Catholic Church was created in 1553, what religion did our people belong to? Muslim? Christian? If Christian, what church? Have a nice day. Chaldean 18:06, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

It belonged ot the Nestorian Church, however, the Nestorian Church didnt consist only of Assyrians but all of the Christians in Middle East, and in Turkey, It consisted mainly of Chaldeans because even you said that they ran up to the mountains, and everything tells me that wasnt in Iraq because all of that area was conquered by the Chaldean and Assyrians were forced to relocate to the neigbhouring countries. So when the Chaldeans chose to seek reunion with the pope, the pope officialy called them Chaldeans which got the rest of the church frustrated, and they knew that the Assyrians were the worst enemy Chaldeans so they decided to call themeselve Assyrian. Dont dare saying that the Nestorian Church only consisted of Assyrians.

When the Chaldean Church was built in 1553, only Assyrians belonged to the Nestorian church. This is a fact. Chaldean 22:07, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
The Church of the East had no control of churchs outside of mesopotamia by the 15th century. I strongly urge you to read about our history [[1]] go buy as many books as you can and educate yourself before you try to argue with anyone. Chaldean 08:15, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
