Askia Jones

Askia Jones (born December 3, 1971 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is an American professional basketball player. A 6'5" guard from Kansas State University, "Ski" was never drafted by a National Basketball Association team but did manage to play in 11 games for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 1994.

Jones is the third-leading scorer in Kansas State history. His scoring prowess was demonstrated on March 24, 1994, when he scored 62 points against Fresno State University in the 1994 NIT Quarterfinals, the second-highest postseason scoring total in college basketball history. The 14 three-point field goals scored by Jones in that game are also a postseason record.

Jones is currently playing professionally in Venezuela.

He is the son of former NBA player Wali Jones.[1]
