From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Askew Nixon Ferguson Architects is an architectural firm founded in 1975 by Lee H. Askew as Lee Askew and Associates, in 1982 called Askew Nixon Ferguson Wolfe, and received its current name and organization in 1998. The founders were Lee H. Askew, William B. Ferguson, William Nixon and Butch Wolfe. In 2008, this firm was run by eight partners, including Askew and Ferguson, and employed about thirty registered architects.

This firm is located in Memphis, Tennessee, and has designed over three hundred projects in a wide variety of locations. The firm has collected numerous awards, and is particularly known for its large gallery space which hosts monthly art shows of local Memphis artists[1][1], and its twice-yearly charitable event, the Architect's Party.

The work of ANF Architects runs the gamut from museums and civic projects,[2][2], to high-design retail stores[3][3], to large university projects[4][4]. ANF is particularly active in the Memphis chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council[5][5] and the American Institute of Architects.
